So why feel the need to resurrect it? I come on here for a bit escapism. I don't need to be reminded what I was doing, or who with, three or four fcuking years ago. That should be of no interest to you whatsoever. Or what anyone here was doing with their lives. If you're interested in seeing what gigs people are going to, you started a new thread, you don't waste half your day going back over old threads to see if someone's asked the same question again, surely.
What you were doing 3 or 4 years ago is not of interest to me. It is the threads that deal with opinions from the time that is of interest to me.
For example, there were threads about Doves, where people were asking if they were going to be huge. I find things like that interesting. Views from the time. It would probably be different nowadays. Probably the same with an Interpol thread, or the book thread.
You mentioned the George Michael thread. I thought there were some cracking replies on that thread. So I put my own in. Saved time from starting another thread, and kept all the witty replies.
You come onto NOOL for escapism. That's fair enough. But I want to explore the history of it a bit more.

As for the Glastonbury thread, it didn't even open in the end did it? I thought it was an abject flop and never toured. New Order certainly didn't wish to be associated with it in the end and pulled out of any collaboration after dismal reports.
Then I must have been thinking of something else then. I stand corrected.
