well yes. there is that overacting of the good aussie mate thing. that usually involves a smirky smile and calling everyboby mate. i never liked garry sweet either, but these days he is bald and grey, and plays more mature roles.

one of the best was a 70's film - THE CLUB with Jack Thompson about Collingwood Football Club.
