Slaine 2003 - Got sat on by a fat German bird when she fell on top of me in moshoit.

Killing Joke - Bloke thought I was a girl and put his arms around me. After saying 'WHAT THE FUCK???' he looked hugely embarassed. Also, a bloke on acid kept screaming abuse at Jaz, and kept falling on me.

KT Tunstall - During support act, a gay fellow tried to stop me clapping my hands. I pushed him away, and he later claimed I'd smcked him in the mouth.

Franz Ferdinand - Girl whinging at me for moshing. Asked if she was a BSP fan, but didn't get it.

Foo Fighters - Security knocked me and three of my mates back twice. Asked one why we weren't being let in. When he wouldn't give me a straight answer, I told him that I hoped his house was robbed on Christmas Eve. Just avoided getting smacked.

Anyone else got similar moments?

Just lie on the other end of the phone - far less embarrassing that standing in a queue in Boots on a saturday morning!

Don't knock it - you can put a pile of poo in it and throw it away - here just have to eat it!

Whatever I said before was probably a little wittier, but it has been lost forevermore; on the other hand it wasn't witty at all, so the good moderators have done you a favour!

Went to see ORBITAL at Brixton Academy 2003,their penultimate UK gig before Glastonbury.Drove down through the night before, parked up in Brixton on a side street, got a train to the city, and walked round ALL DAY.London Eye,IMAX,pub lunch, then to Brixton to watch England match. Up at front for gig, still not sat down all day. I was giving it "Big box, little box" dancing with my hands rave thing, but bleeding exhausted.I could here a few sniggers behind, when I couldn't move my feet.If I had dropped an E,I might have clutched onto my credibility!!

And I tried to drive home that night an' all.Pulled in a side street, about 4 miles down the road and kipped down!

  • at a show and the overwhelming smells of pot and body funk made me retch in an arc of spew. Sliding in my own cess to get to the rundown toilet where two girls are shooting up; I fill the sink with my stomach. Choice moment of wit was looking the girls square in the eye and saying "Whatever you do, don't do drugs". Comical moment was the sink not draining and the sludge flowing to the floor, where they slid on it themselves just to get out of there.

  • I sneezed on Debbie Harry's hand when we met backstage. It was like some kind of alien had shot out of my nose and globuled onto her palm. Beet red. She was a real nice lady about it.

  • the time I was too drunk at my first Monaco gig and lost all memory but sensation of the night. All my tape had on it was a bunch of me saying nutty, abusive things to the accompaniment of the band.

  • any time I've taken my recorder to a show just for my own benefit and wound up carrying on bizarre convos with other guests and completely missing out on the event.

I have been at Glastonbury when The Cure and the Pet Shop Boys have played, obviously I didn't watch either of them, but how embarrassing being at a music event with bands like that on the bill.

I am still trying to live it down :\ohwell:

Having to stay in a seat at Wembley Arena 87 was somewhat embarassing

I'm pretty sure that I stepped on some girl's legs once or twice when I saw theStart and didn't realize it until much later. I was just like, "What the hell is that bump on the floor?"

Doing the WALK OF SHAME during the Apollo gig in 2001.

Near death experience when I got crushed to buggery, had to dive over the front barrier (much to John's amusement) and take the long walk round the front & side. On the plus side, I got to the bar got a pint and watched Temptation without spilling any :D

The second best was being absolutely legless at a Manics gig in 2001, I was with Baldrick and his missus and my cousin Steve and his mate Burnsy were in another block, I decided I wanted to go and see them, how the fuck I found them in my state is a mystery (we got beat by the Dark Hordes at Ibrox that morning hence, 15 plus beers through the day) We were dancing around like loonies whilst everyone else sat there quietely

Edit : The funniest moment at a gig was having to stop John going back to punch Phil Mitchell of Eastenders for not having a photie with Lorraine after the Brixton show in 2001!

Bleedin Arsehole from the sounds of that last tale of his :D

must admit I don;t have TOO many tales of my own, because I stopped getting wankered before gigs after seeing all the acid and E heads running for cover at an Orb concert.

Howver.... I met Andy Hughes of The Orb (the orb always =alex Paterson+ someone who knows how all the stuff works (alex is a guitar roadie and a DJ, NOT a technical genius) at the time it was Andy). Anyway we were chatting away, and he was geeking out about premixes the'd been playing that night, and as he leaned over to tell me something........ his hair got caught in the join of the leg of my glasses and we became conjoined twinds for a while.

Shudder. Thank FUCK I kept it together when I met Tony and Hooky.

Oh aye 1998,Manchester Apollo the ist M/C Reunion gig after Olympia, which I missed.I was on holiday when Apollo tickets came on sale. Thought,I'll try and buy one outside. One guy said,"You want a ticket?" Follow me,he said. Here we go! " How much do you want to pay?" :confused2: "Is this a trick question? Fook all!" "£75 circle to you" "Naw,you're alright, they're on in ten minutes",they should be paying ME to take them of him in a bit. Guy outside arguing with these two blokes, near the entrance near all these parked taxis. "Bollocks course it's worth £40!" They appeared to be unfazed. I leaned over,"How much do you want for it?" "£40" "You're on" As money changed hands, the bastard drops the ticket.Picks it up,he's nowhere to be seen,or the two blokes. FORTY POUND for a fcuking ticket STUB!!:banghead:

Sleeves rolled up,I ran round to Apsley Cottage round the stage door,"where is he?? The BASTARD" Went home and watched ACADEMY video with a few tinnies tro drown my sorrows. I was more annoyed that in my job,I can spot a fake ten/twenty pound note from a mile off,and yet.....AARGH:banghead:

:o :o :o :o :o :o

Well it could be worse.

A mate of mine had to leave a Franz Ferdinand and a Prodigy gig before it started, because he'd had seven pints, and two boiled eggs to eat all day.

As a result :barf:
