Fact of the day: The last four managers to win the world cup all said they would quit immediatley after the tournament:
2002: Scolari 98: Aime Jacques 94: Carlos Alberto 90: Beckenbauer
Personally, would love to see someone the likes of Martin O'Neill.
However, not sure England boasts three 6ft8 centre-backs to fit into his standard gameplan.

How about transform them from relegation favourites from the old Second Division (that's pre-Premiership to you, matey) playing at someone else's ground 'cos we didn't have our own, into a stable Premiership outfit that flirts with European qualification every year before falling away because unlike certain other clubs (yours for instance) Charlton can't just spend millions on player after player to go that one step further. How would Morinho, Wenger or Benitez do on Curbs' budget? Significantly worse I suspect... 'Tinpot Charlton' are also unbeaten at Stamford Bridge this season unlike everyone else.

you can have anyone you like, as long as you don't poach the current australian coach. apparently Guus Hiddink is now one of the favourites to take over england.
I have no real dirt on Big Sam.. He did take on Alan Green recently on Radio 5 Live which was ill advised.. No biggie though. As I said, he'd be fine, but I would prefer Curbs.
Must admit Paul Jewell goes up in my estimation yet again tonight.. lol

Yip, thats doing the rounds here too. Current manager is Ted Dimitru who's a Romanian, 69 years old and wears the thickest lenses you ever did see. They're currently playing in the African Cup of Nations in Egypt - opening 'banker' game against Guinea they lost 2-0 so bye bye Ted. Previous manager was Stuart Baxter, an Englishman and Carlos Queiroz (Man U) has also had the job. Generally they leave after a year or so out of sheer exasperation...

What do you mean?? Liverpool are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge this season! Fact that we havent played them there in the Prem might have something to do with that... Anyone who mentions the Anfield game:

Ok if you wanna split hairs - 'Tinpot Charlton' are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge this season unlike everyone else who's played Chelski there in the Premiership. I'll also add that 'Tinpot Charlton' are the only team to have beaten Chelski in any competition at Stamford Bridge since Mourinho took over.
