I've never been entirely comfortable with combining chilli and bacon.

If chili IS to be involved the sausage would function as a much more successful carrier for it's modulator.

Bacon sarnies should simple be as much dead pig as you can get between 2 bits of bread, a spot of butter, and not a lot else.

Bender.

I had THE BEST sausage sarnie on the way up before the Apollo gig. Remember when everyone used to coat off 'British Rail food'. Those Virgin boys, fcuking gorgeous it was. They'd even laid the sausages at angles just to make it appear even the more complicated. And given it a light toasting. Wunderbar.

This takes about twenty minutes , it's fookin quality tackle for a winters night or a mornin heartstarter .

Cumberland sausage ring on a large toasted Barm /huffer /binlid ( whatever yer local term is ) , with braised cabbage and wholegrain mustard . Cuppa strong tea .

Did a site survey a coupla weeks ago , eight freezin hours in the middle of nowhere and when we got back to the B and B , the landlady brought a platefull of them out .

Add crispy bacon to the braised cabbage to prevent thread hijack .

Good lads! You keep eating bacon, preferably british, and keep me in work. As a side note how do you like your bacon cooked? I prefer it very lightly done ie: maximum 1 minute/rasher in a very hot pan with no oil! :D

crispy edges soft in the middle.

I am really odd about what I would call undercooked food...I therefor overcook almost everything.
