Just in time i see!
Well, the guys really not well- emotionally, and you can laugh and joke all you like, but shit like this happens in life- even to a footballer!
Personally- don't find it funny as word is, it's quite serious. I would not want to see anyone reduced to that kind of state! If you've never seen a breakdown, then keep the jokes to yourself!
And yes.................Arsenal are shit, but i fucking love them, always have and always fucking will, even if they end up in the conference!
Next!!!!
hmmmm yeah i was laughing at the demise of arsenal really...
i've only just seen the stuff about his private life on sky sports news just now, so i wasn't laughing at that, never would. Hope he gets better of course, but I just like seeing Arsenal fail.

Laughed my head off at his defending on Wednesday (being a West Ham fan) and at Arsenal's current form in general, but if he does have private issues he's struggling with then I wish him all the best - he is a top player and with an England shirt on, will always support and rate him... With an Arsenal shirt on... well, long may the standard of Wednesday's performance continue (at least against the Hammers...)

22 grown men chasing the outside of a cow and the inside of a pig round a field while 10's of 1000's of other sing badly and throw bottles.....WTF is THAT about :)
I repeat my challenge to the chavballists of this site to name a single league footballer who can win a minor league motor race, cos that uber-chinned cheating product of NAZI Eugenics Schumacher can score a right few goals in lower divisiion matches (he occassionally guested for Kerpin FC I believe) as well as all manor of charity events many against professional chavballers.
Then again, it can be easily and soundly argued that being a total iliterate, dribbling, knuckle dragger in football is an advantage...in F1 it's a REQUIREMENT.

He's gay - allegedly - everyone knows that, surely?! And have know that for donkey's years.
There's gotta be something more to this than just that, surely?! Unless there's a kiss 'n' tell about to appear in a Sunday rag??
He's always seemed a bit, erm... "emotional"
Someone in the media said a year or so back that he has a persecution complex

I used to know a racing driver, Peter Dumbreck, the guy that drove the Merc that did the somersaults at Le Mans. Not only was I a better footballer than him but I wasted him at Super MarioKart :D
Grrrrrr piss off with your sensible evidence and logical arguments....no place for it here. :D
What we want is ranting bullshit and gibbering rhetoric, thank you very much ;)
PD's flip at le mans is top 5 scariest things EVER (outside the USA where they just fire pickup trucks into the stands willie nillie), did rather well for himself in F Nippon or something as well. Bugger will always have a job testing with all the different shit he drove.
seriously though how bad can it be?
Ronaldo dealt with his Fathers death and rape allegations within the space of a month. Can it get worse than that?

I was at Le Mans when it happened, not funny as I was with his relatives and girlfriend (he was going out with my girlfriend of the time sister). The first thing that happened when he was pulled out of the wreck was he got breathalysed!! It was because where it happened (Mulsanne straight?) is public road outside the event and was required by law. I think he passed?
At least he was able to tell me how to deal with massive understeer in front wheel drive car after me spinning a Corrado twice. Never had to use that advice yet thankfully.

I forgot about O'Shea. I'm sorry, but Will Young gets linked to every Prem footballer who might possibly be light-footed. See also: a current Pompey fullback, an Everton centre-forward and a Birmingham centre-half.

Lift off a lot more gently than you had been doing? :D Corado=the thinking man's Golf. lovely machines.
I loved that when he got out of the car you could see that even thru the shock and concussion, he was working out how far he was from the road and thinking WTF?
I believe it was the hump at the end of the straight just before (the now castrated) Mulsanne corner. get the chicanes out to fuck, lets get 250+mph going again...and put Mulsanne corner back to a 6ft wide square right...that'll sort em.
It was the first time Merc had been back at Le-mans with a factory entry since they stuck a car into the S/F grandstand in 56(?) and wiped out the driver and 79 punters....and you thought you fuckers had it hard with Cantona? :D
Barney Army wrote: No wonder he plays at the back.
I knew one of your lot (United) who was female and from Maidenhead (also, like most United!) who followed you lot EVERYWHERE! Every pre-season friendly, etc, and was 99% convinced about a former fullback of yours being gay, who would make one of the unlikeliest gay icons you would ever expect!

Cambo, are you related to..........Sol?
Steve Campbell wrote: I believe it was the hump at the end of the straight just before (the now castrated) Mulsanne corner.
Yes and No.
It was the hump that let 'dirty air' get under the car.
By dirty I dont mean scousers, or dirt, I mean unpredictable air flow, heat does things to air density as you know. A test driver flipped his Merc in testing the day before the event and landed back on the fuckin wheels!. The car was fucked obv, but they still had a spare for the event. Mercedes solution? A strip of Lead in the front spoiler.
And the reason DB didnt land back on his wheels and ended up in the forest was coz he was racing.....really racing. It could have ended up so different for him as he was making up real time, but all things considered, that is what motorsport is all about, you drive the car faster than it can handle...you lose. Well the designers do anyway.
I first met him well before that, it was an hour before his debut into F3 at Donnington. I have never, never, seen a man so ill looking. But the quality racing drivers have is that they can still keep it together under enormous, fuckin life threatening, situations. Freaks, the lot of em. But respect.
Still, I took him to my local boozer once, he was one booooring fucker, real hard work. A machine, not a man.

I meant where not what :D
And I'm an old hand at dirty air and the like, not only a die hard f1 fan but one of me former GPL buddies is an aerodynamics PHD...he has a fairly medium job just now, but all his mates who failed and flunked all have jobs at F1 teams, so I get all manner of excluslive news and shit way ahead of time, but pay for it in long lectures on all those ugly bits sticking out of the tops of GP cars, and ground effect and fookin CFD simulations.....clever cunt so he is, his maths is light years ahead of mine so he loses me in that most times.
Racing drivers are legendarily dull. the theory is that anyone with the slightest hint of imagination or inteligence would instantly predict the eventual outcome of sitting in a small coffin surrounded by petrol doing 190mph up a clif face in belgium in the rain. The FIA's Dr professor Sid Watkins, a consultant neurosugeon has stated severl times that he has never detected the presence of anything at all inside a racing drivers head that could be considered a brain :D They also get confused by people who are not that way...hence the likes of Eddie Irvine (a spanner compared with any of us but a possitive F1 gobshite...and the only man I;ve seen get interveiwed on the grid at monza on 3 E's (not racing I might add) ) and juan pablo montoya, who's a proper geezer, get hated by all and sundry (that and their uncanny ability to wall the opposition and get away with no damage).
wait for the world cup to come around and my latent football gene wil awaken and I will swear and rant and rave like the rest of you for a few weeks. FFS I got sent home from school after NI got fucked out of the 82 WC cos I argued with the headmaster that the referee, however empowered and within his rights, was still a moron (not sure if it was the bare faced saying of it or the leading of a chant of the entire p7 class that tipped him over the edge tho).
EDIT: worth noting that I am going into the WC with no idea who to support other than England until the 2nd round when I'll have to find someone else.....prepare for strange choices and stranger match comments I should imagine.

Found this in the Sun this morning.
NOOL star Steve Campbell went missing yesterday — as it emerged NOOL webmasters had NO IDEA where he was. Amid rumours the giant Irishman may be in New York, worried pals blamed the walkout on his tangled love life.
One said last night: “Steve’s head is messed up by what’s happening in his personal life. He’s emotionally involved with three women and is struggling to cope.
“He’s in a bad way and has obviously decided to go off the radar while he straightens himself out.”
Missy Jem, Maya, and Melly refused to comment for the story.
