The mad person feels increasingly constricted, hemmed in and held down by their partner's inability to free-think, change or evolve or even just DO something on a whim the sane one gets confused and also frustrated that their partner is not interested in reading pension policies on a saturday night.
I have never been in the least attracted to sane women...I may have considered shaggin the brains out of one or two (if they looked hot) when I was pissed, but NEVER EVER found myself actually drawn to one.

Is 'sane' used in the right context here?! I'd like to think I only date 'sane' birds. Never really understood the meaning of 'moderation' meself so it's nice to have someone level-headed to keep me grounded most of the time.
Anyone who actually stands up and says, "Hey, I'm mad, me," usually, well, isn't. Last thing I'd ever fancy dating is the female equivalent of the Fast Show's Colin Hunt.

I far prefer women who seem quite quiet or sensible to start with, but slowly turn out to be complete loons. In fact, the girl who popped me cherry's idea of a good saturaday night was mixing up a batch of thermite and "playing" with it on her hearth. And If I go through the women who have nicked me heart over the years, all the really worthwhile ones (ie the ones that didn't shriek and run at the mere sight of me), have been decidedly "sideways" in their mental make up and outlook on reality. My fave trait in a girl, is an ability to listen to someone (usually me) ranting about something she knows nowt about, but at the end of it, turn round and say something so out of the blue and so "her" it's truly inspirational. Oddly the greatest exponent of this I ever met was not a local lass but a daughter of Shoreham by Sea...soft southern Order ;) Everyone else thought she was a blonde retard, but she could talk stellar physics after 10 pints :D:D
