woke up this morning and we are buried, id say at least 10 inches and its still coming down pretty hard so now im snowbound , time to dig out NO DVDs & "CHILL":lol:

diggy, to answer your question i just got my pie delivered. I wouldnt call a blizzard because there was descent visibilty. winter has been no existent before yesterday.

great day to relax and just chill but i wish it happened on a weekday.

you are from buffalo, where a blizzard is about 10 feet of snow:laugh:

i went out for a bit and the visability was bad, its cleared up now though

i took some pictures and will try to get them up

It's not just in NYC. It's also in Boston. I woke up to a foot and a half of snow this morning. Most restaurants were closed and only the supermarkets and convenience stores were open, although they didn't have much selection. It's still snowing lightly out, nothing like a blizzard, but no one's out on the roads or streets.

This time last year I was in Manhattan for the first time.Bloody great,but the weather was freaky.One day I was chilling on Liberty Island sunbathing,and looking down from Empire State,next day blizzard! Couldn't see two feet in front of me.Sheltered in Macys for a couple of hours then FORCED to take shelter in a pub to drown my sorrows with proper GUINNESS. The horror....the horror..

Yep, in this part of the country, that's how it is. Lat week, it was in the 50's, no snow. Now, it's about 10 degrees with over a foot of snow on the ground and winds making it feel about 0.

Worst one we got this season was 44 cm, that's more or less 20 inches?
