Any Binoche films with full frontal nudity in 'em?

It would be a draw between Trois Couleurs: Bleu and Le Hussard sur le toit.

I did also enjoy Chocolat.

Bleu is my favorite acting performance of hers. However, visually, in some particular scenes, she was extra hot in Damage (even if the film was rubbish overall).

Is that you in yer avatar, Emma?

the name Emma Peel conjures up a leather-clad fox driving a sports car running around after a twat with a bowler hat. Please don't destroy that image.

No, that is not me in the avatar. Instead, it is a pic of a singer named PJ Harvey.

I don't think I even have a digital photo of myself to put in an avatar....so -- perhaps I should change the avatar to reflect the image of Emma Peel as you have so aptly described. What do you think?

Cheers, Emma

Jaysus!... that's PJ Harvey?..

she didnt look like that when I saw her live in the Joiners Arms in Southampton in 1989.

I think the leather clad Emma Peel image would be fantastic. Go for it!

She was great in Whore Wars II: Attack of the Big-Chested Clones :evil4:

But who could ever forget her turn as a simple French maid whose life is turned upside down by the First World War in 100% Cum-Soaked Sluts? :nonono:

I always thought PJ Harvey was hot, but I've never seen her THAT HOT! Sizzle!

Okay, I changed my avatar to a leather clad image...

but I put my second choice for the avatar in my picture gallery. It's Emma Peel dressed as the Queen of Sin in a corset. That episode got the Avengers banned in the US for a while. The States is still puritanical...

Surprised you didn't go for the Uma Thurman version.

Also, it was the mid 60's. The States aren't so "puritanical" anymore.

Uma didn't pull it off. Diana Rigg is the real Emma Peel in my book.

And I disagree. The States is still puritanical in 2006. Look at all the loads of censorship -- on radio, on tv, and especially in real life. Look at all the legal troubles of Larry Flynt, and all the trouble Howard Stern had with the FCC. I could write a dissertation on this subject.

Alice Et Martin or Trois Couleurs; Bleu.

Actually the actress in Trois Couleurs; Rouge is rather gorgeous too!

Emma

I was commenting on Emma Peel in a corset not the legal problems of Larry Flynt. But I admire your need for a soapbox.

Emma...

That is entirely the avatar image i was thinking of. Makes me feel all warm.

Unbearable Lightness is my fave, I enjoyed Chocolat very much, and I've had a mental note to check out the Colors, but haven't had the time.

Still, having spent so much time wasting my time on awful flicks when I worked in a theater, the name alone of an appealing actress is not enough to make me part with my money, I'll just wait till it comes on cable.

As for English Patient, what I've seen makes me side with Elaine Benes on Seinfeld........

Julie Delpy in White isn't half bad either! I like the ending to that film.

SPOILERS

Yes...also later, Delpy's character (Dominique) is in jail and she can't reveal her innocence without revealing his ex-husband Karol's guilt (that he faked his death). It is an enigmatic sign language scene involving a wedding ring, which most people interpret that Dominique has fallen back in love with her ex-husband Karol.

Don't forget the Juliette Binoche cameos in White and Red though! :)

Trust me, Emma, it's really not a problem. At the potential wrath of Digital Mike, Emma Peel in leathers trumps Juliette Binoche any time.

the words i am looking for are

Damage.

What an experience. I saw that with a theater full of senior citizens in Boca Raton, FL. They giggled a lot.
