similar to marmite. it is an aquired taste. once you have a taste for it you'll love it. the secret is to spread it very thin. it goes well with cheddar cheese slices as well.

ok this the best i can do to explain what it is. according to the label it is a concentrated yeast extract. it is black and very salty. it is best thinly applied to toast, and i need to buy some this morning.
