Bollox ya cheekykunt , I fractured me left tib and fib in a spanish swimmin pool a coupla years back , fook all , piece o piss etc .......
this fooker smarts a bit![]()
Very annoying. Esepcially today, where I've a cut inbetween two digits that makes doing the International Vulcan Greeting impossible.![]()
document sealed with a thumb print. is a bummer if whatever you're working on has to left unmarked though.
as a printer i get many paper cuts. some people always say paper cuts are the worst. so if a mugger pulled out a sword would they say " o thank fuck its only a sword and not a piece of paper "
I can't stand it. How can something so small cause seething pain? I tried to be careful not to get it again, but papercuts will always happen.
On my SIX plaster tonight due to said PAPER cut whilst stripping WOODCHIP(yeah i know how fcuking 70s ) from PLANET ROCKET's kitchen ceiling(the one with WATER pissin in)in order to sell my house.I am decorating, fixing, plastering, renovating and generally tidying up before selling. What a MESS! ![]()
they are very annoyning. strangley enough i haven't had one in ages. i'll probably get one on monday now.
Quite, but as I haven't had one in a while, I'm gonna say that having a quarter inch spire of the glue found on some corrugated boxes that got jammed fully underneath the nail on my left ring finger doesn't feel any better than that.
Extremely annoying. I think they're one of the worst minor injuries you can get because they're so feckin' sore.

Probably because the paper SAWS through the skin in a far more jagged way that you may imagine, and doubtless leaves little bits of 9bleached) paper behind in the wound.
Dunno really, that's what I always assumed.
got to be the bleachfibres. definitely. ![]()
sewing, with white thread on any material and see how manageable that is to keep clean if you catch your finger.

go R.Mick, go ! efficient and successful. good luck. JW.
I've had a Bronzed 6/0 oshaughnessy through me hand, covered in salt water and bits of mackerel, and it hurt less that some paper and (as you rightly say JW) thread/string injuries.
random bit..... (it's a big fookin fish hook for those who don;t know.....for those who do know....fishing in Bangor means either a match rod fishing for baby (3 inches is a whopper) Gadids of every species, spinning for mackerel through a reef that must have a MILLION traces snared in it, or conger fishing...which is where the 6/0's come in...one of those, no lead, half a mackerel and a boat rig....cast once....enjoy the pier for 8 hours and go home. If you actually catch one, panic.)
there might be something to the paper cut thing. mess or no. salt water in a cut, could clean it well but ouch.
not theories to be tested.
