Gibson all the way.

Cant afford the one I want so got a Fender Tele instead.

I'd have to say the Yamaha BB line is my absolute favorite in terms of cleanness of design, weight, and finish, but hell if i'm going to deny that the Fender Jaguar and Telecaster designs aren't uniquely wonderful. I love the industrial, stamp-pressed, anti-fashion look to the Jaguar, and fucking 'ell that Mustang bass :love:. It's nice to have some snarl to a bass sound instead of that typical rounded-out rubberband bouncing sound that every Brit bassist in the 80s was sporting.

Also, an F-hole can make an ordinary Strat look great.
