MONTY's 55 Mile Walk for CANCER RESEARCH : 9PM TONIGHT!!

HI FOLKS! Does anyone want to sponsor me on my sponsored walk tonight FRIDAY 3rd March & SATURDAY 4th March. It's in aid of CANCER RESEARCH and it involves me,daft bastard here,walking.... 55 MILES or is that....90 KILOMETERS.

Starting at about 9pm on Friday night from Manchester UMIST Building,then walking to beyond Manchester Airport taking in Wythenshawe,Gatley,Cheadle Heath,Bramhall,Stockport,Cheadle,back to Manchester.Stop for a sausage sandwich,then onto Miles Platting,Hollinwood,Victoria Avenue,Heaton Park,Prestwich,Whitefield,Ringley,Kearsley,Swinton,Salford and back to Manchester by about late SATURDAY AFTERNOON!!

You can sponsor me by the mile (if you're feeling particularly rich) or you can sponsor me just a flat rate donation.As much or as little as you want. How do you part with your hard earned cash? Well I'm glad you asked me that.Just e-mail me on..

The reason why I require your full address is if you're happy with it,at no extra cost,I can tick GIFT AID against you on my sponsor form. How it works is,when UMIST collects in all the sponsor forms at the end of the "BOGLE STROLL" sponsored walk,they send them all to INLAND REVENUE,and those pledges with a full viable address,don't get taxed for their pledge. So CANCER RESEARCH get more of the money! SO COME ON NOOLERS,MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

P.S I don't want any money for at least 3 or 4 weeks time.I shall scan my completion certificate on forum for all to see! And there'll be pictures too!

I would have thought you would be worried about walking through Rusholme at 11pm anway, never mind the temptation of a curry.

Nah, my college is in Rushholme, it aint that bad, even at night. Will be tempting though, theres some real nice places down there.

Pub's look pretty smart in Fallowfield up the road too!

In fact I'll be working up Didsbury in a few weeks time on my new promotion,frequenting some posh pubs and driving over a few footballers!
