Pancakes

For you pancake connesuiers, there are 2 places here in Los Angeles that continually makes the top 5 best pancake lists in the country: Dupar's & Griddle Cafe. I've eaten at both and the Griddle Cafe pancakes are better. It's always on our tour of the city when we have friends from out of town.

Been to Dupar's for a 3 PM breakfast on New Year's Day, never been to Griddle Cafe.

I had, ummm, pancakes.

On Tuesday I went to my Mums and she made me and LITTLEINOIL pancakes. It was so sweet, Little had a go at flipping them, had a lovely time (I had written tossing there, but changed it in case Jem sees it and writes another of her hilarious retorts).

I ate loads of the flat little fuckers, then I went to the pub and had a load of Boddies. I went to bed no problem, but was sick for one hour from 5am.

Eating pancakes until I'm sick is the one religeous experience I allow myself each year.
