X-files

I bought myself X-Files season 2 yesterday because it was cheap (tesco's we're outpriced by W h Smith ). Started watching it last night, i'd forgotten what a class show this was up to the movie then it lost its way abit but for now i'm back being an X-Files fan.

its a great show. i have most of the "conspiracy" episosdes on video. yes the show did loose its way in the last two, or was that three years.

I love the episode with the shapeshifter guy who steals Mulder's wallet. THen he stands in front of the mirror practicing showing off his FBI badge. "FBI! F B I!!"

But the one where they are protecting the "angels" and Scully is hiding in the church with the priest looking for them and when Scully sees his shadow and it has horns! Forget it, no way.

Totally great show, up until the last couple of years, but hey, it took the producers a lot longer to lose the plot when compared to Twin Peaks.

Pretty sure the Lone Gunmen spinoff's premiere episode was about a plot to fly a plane into the WTC, but it's been so long since I've seen that one, not sure I wanna buy the DVD epsiode set for that one.

Of course, Mulder and Scully's appearance on The Simpsons was total classic.

I so miss and heart X-Files. Great 90's show. [currently humming the intro tune]

XFiles promised so much and delivered so little... I'm a rabid SF fan, so I wish I could be more positive... maybe the mooted 2nd film will be more impressive...?

the truth is still out there. i want to believe.

So far this series is awesome, scullys been abducted and mulders running round going nuts.
