What's Your Most Played?!

Anyone got an iPod or similar ilk which keeps a list of how many times you've played tracks?

Only got an iPod a month back after leaving me Creative Jukebox on a train to the MEN gig (doh) but just having a quick ganders over my 25 Most Played since then and there's f'all Order to be seen. Have been caning that Paul Haig thing all week though, so that's close enough. Actually, that's me all over, just cane the same tracks over and over. Only got hold of Client's Rotherham Sessions two weeks ago and Monkey On My Back has been played to death since then. Only really listen to tunes to/from work on the underground and think my choices reflect that: big beats and no-brainer repetetive choons to block out the day.

Anyone else gonna show theirs?!

bloody "poddies" ;)

Strictly a cd based mp3 player here, yeah I know, moving parts, great leap backwards and all....but can you beat 3p for 650MB ram?

Seen a plugin for winamp/xmms that would give the same playlist handling functionality, with skipped tracks having lower random seeds and a compiled most played list as above....but it wanted to scan all 5 machines on the network for mp3's, and I'm fond of things like, using my computer once every few days :D

We had a discussion about 'em in Germania, in which me and Gordie professed our undying admiration for 'em and JG was extremely offended. So I went and downloaded all their albums when I got back.

My lastfm station says my most played (on my computer..which I'm never at anymore mind you) is LWTUA. But that's because I left winamp on one night accidently and it was only playing that one song over and over again. It still only racked up 42 times... it woke me up eventually when I began to have dreams of hanging myself from a clothesline..

Fuck knows... I'll have a look when I get home... Last time I checked/noticed it was 'You Can't Hurry Love' by the Concretes, although I have no idea how that came to happen - maybe I left in on repeat or something... I imagine it may now be Cries & Whispers as it's only place I have it and I've been getting plenty of urges to hear that one recently... I tend to use shuffle, unless I've just put something new on...

no ipod here i'm afraid.

just my old trusted Kenwood hi-fi in the living room these days, and the CD in the car.

new order singles still getting spun at the moment, plus Rakes and Editors.

CD in the car? How can you deal???

I love my random function on my mp3 player. Except when it randomly picks 4 versions of the same song in a row

Haven't got an i-pod, no need for one. The Editors constantly in my car though.

LOL....say "SAM Missile" in front of me some time, if you could harness the pissed offness that generates, you could sling a ship to the furthest stars.

oh dear, I had to go to 474 before I found a non NO track (too many gigs on the ipod)

it was some tune I've never heard on an album called 'Trance 4'

The first one I recognised was 489. William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings.

:uhoh:

oh wait, I was looking at 'recently added'

My most-played thing is fucked - apparently Dracula's Castle is my most played NO track and unless the missus has developed an obsession with it, I know that ain't true...
