Agree totally - great song, but otherwise
Also: Can't Stand Me Now (or whatever it was called) by the Libertines...

not so found of that...but phantomn of the opera is quite a track.
Also like a couple of early cure tunes and 3 or 4 DM songs (new dress is a piece of genius)
I'm sure there are others, possibly much worse ones.
Feeder (who suck) - Buck Rogers (which mostly doesn't suck)
Athlete (haystack) - You got the style (needle)
Frank Zappa (tiresome) - You are what you is (invigorating)
Whitetown (dust) - Your Woman (ruby)
Armand van Helden (just awful) - Funk Phenomenon (just brilliant)
Tool (no no no) - Stinkfist (yes yes yes)
I could go on.

You need to avoid long dull guitar solo Zappa and discover stupid comedy music Zappa, he's MUCH better :) gags about blowjobs from groupies and the rolling stones or zeplin or whoever, shagging mudsharks are great....and so is his band from that era. Stuf from the 80's I wouldn;t piss on if it was on fire tho.
Zappa sucks. I like Joe's Garage but of his shiite is too weird and crappy. I'd rather shiite my pants in public than watch 1000 Motels again. For the same reason I cannot tolerate Phish.

im listening to your boys just now suicide - why be blue not the best album they have made
Most of the Prodigy's ouvre. Like almost everything they've done, loathe the band themselves. Bit annoying, that.
Actually, could probably say the same about much of the Rolling Stones output.

To be quite honest-suicide is quite hit or miss-but i will always adore their self-titled album-They were never able to match up to that. Its sort of a curse they have.
I've listened to a "best of" by Zappa that I have and only Don't Eat Yellow Snow and Bobby Brown Goes Down stuck out. Maybe it just needs more listens.

Have you ever heard Orbital's stunning proof that not only is that song the exact same song as "living on a prayer" by bon jovi...but that it sounds almost the same backwards as forwards (only a bit better) gotta admit tho, it's the best thing she ever did.

But which came first?

LOL!
no way chick, she's threatening to grass me up to him an' all.
I was thinking actually...you could include a fair swathe of Metallica's output under this heading.....I like the music, but I'd dearly like to throttle certain members of the band.

The whole of the first Maiden album has stood the test of time much better than anything else they've done, imo... So I suppose that comes under this heading, but in terms of a live show, they are still brilliant fun and theatre... Haven't rated anything they've done since Seventh Son, and even then I've tried of everything bar the first album over the past few years...
