I've just e-mailed the Queen about giving him a long overdue knighthood. it says you have a better chance of reply if you write to her,

think i'll sharpen my quill too just in case!

No reply from Tony Blair then?

Why do you think he should get one ?

The question should be why hasn't he got one?

Look at the list of tossers that have and it's difficult to argue against PSAS.

patrick stewart was the only reason why I ever watched ST:TNG.

I think he's due for the recognition by now.

you bliff Owens...we were all creasin ourselves at him for weeks and you ruined it.

Dissappointed of bangor

PS..Paddy Stewart MADE ST-TNG...all you need to do is look at Voyager or Enterprise to see how poor it would be without him....although I will admit that they actually had some sci-fi writers on staff on TNG rather than rejects from "Bold and the beautiful" and a perl script to inster wrds like "tachyon" and "inverse graviton pulse" at random through the script (it pissed me off most, because several times, here and elsewhere when I have talked about poor sci-fi having no science...people think this kind of made up crap is what I mean)

PS...his Scrooge was MINDBLOWINGLY AWESOME

Why do i think he should get one??

well, he's probably the finest british actor in the world today, he is from west Yorkshire so that puts him higher in my list, he has brought joy to millions of people world wide with his roles in X-men and Star Trek, which is more than i can say for some people who've got one just. i think he promotes britishness.

thats all i can think of from the top of my head.

Same here. There's something so charismatic about him and he has the best speaking voice.

Don't think any Star Trek actors will ever get a knighthood, I mean it is hardly serious acting is it?

Also the first series with William Shatner was sublime and can never be bettered.

However I understand he was a very fine Shakespearian Actor, perhaps he should have stuck with that. But then then again there is probably more money in American Sci fi shows.

Guess he can't have it both ways :nonono:

He got $14'000'000 for the last star trek movie, and he said if they want him, back for another he wants the same money which he is on for X-men, which i presume is more than $14m, which paramount have said they'll bow too.

send the Queen a DVD set of The Next Generation or X-Men 1 and 2... maybe this will sway her glove?

does the Queen answer her e-mail? do you think she has any clue about anything that has happened in the last 30 years?

have you seen American Dad cartoon where Patrick Stewart is porking his daughter, and he sings that "i like little girls..." song. the show is pretty mediocre but Sir-outta-be-Mr. Stewart is the funniest part of Amercian Dad
