Someone was recommending cheap turntables a while back. Major Tarantino possibly. Anyone good at finding old threads?

Dunno if this's what you want Hank, this is the only turntable thread that I can recall recently (it was on like page 33....and it's only from December!!!!!!......yes, a lot of bollocks gets talked about here, I'd say). I wasn't gonna go any further, this only took about 7 minutes.

Cheers peeps. I think it was from even further back. Seem to recall Major saying there was one by a crappy make like Bush for about £80, that got seriously good reviews.

I think Richer Sounds had a reasonable Thorens deck. I've just got my Heybrook TT2 working after ordering a new sylus from http://www.musonic.co.uk.

Quite a good website for parts anyway.

ah! i wish i could afford a linn turntable. the one i have right now is playing my 33 1/3s TOO fast.
