I read this in school a few days back. A Broken Heart website is a site where people get to put pictures of their ex's on the site, where they accuse them of cheating and other bad treatment. Clearly, I think this is low-class. Unless if the person did a criminal act, this humilation is so degrading.
What do you think of Broken Heart websites?

I suppose the answer is not to do anything bad or wrong... But I suppose not is everyone is as perfect as moi... I dare say these things can get pretty libelous... You're not starting one up are you, Cozzie?

i dunno sounds pretty sick. i suppose its better to vent anger in this way, than to commit some violent act. it still is twisted in my book.
A friend just sent me this link today.
Maybe she’s a bit bitter, but I thought it was kinda funny. I must admit though I haven’t really read what is posted yet.

This is an example that I have read about. No, Snorri, I'm not starting one to get you back anyway. The reason why I started this was because it has been bothering me for a while. The point of a relationship is to give and receive love and respect. If the relationship doesn't work, why can't some people have the courage to go on? ![]()

Only joking, C! Agree totally - either make it work or walk away and move on... And then one day
will find you...

Always worth checking out the background - you never know she might be a shed-hater, and that'd never work would it?

If the ex hasn't been cheating or treating the other person badly, then yes, it is wrong. If they have done those things, though, then they deserve all they get. I believe that public humiliation is the best form of punishment and these sites are a pretty good way of doing that. Like other people have said, it's better than violence or causing criminal damage as a way of getting revenge. It can even help people to move on.
I can't access this site, I bet it makes for amusing reading though. However, I think it's only fair that the 'named and shamed' person gets their chance to post their own comments about their ex as well, such as "I only cheated on her cos she's a frigid cow and she's got hairy nipples!"
If it were me i would go beserk if somebody put something like that on the internet about me.
My blog for a year was "I left for 2 weeks to get my visa sorted and then he told me not to bother coming back" hahahhaha
Sometimes just recapping people's actions without bias is the best way to make them look like an ass. If you've got to add color commentary, then the situation wasn't that bad

Jem you probably need to update your Flash.
And they do have a place where “Men tell us your side of the story” and it will get posted next to their profile. So that’s pretty fair.

No he didn't! That sucks.
Thanks taxi, but this is actually my works computer and therefore access is denied to a lot of sites :(

Sad to hear her old routine's just not stopping traffic anymore.
:\pimp3:
Hmm, wonder if I'm on the "don'tdatehimgirl" site ![]()
I think it's nothing new, really. Think back to all the folks you knew in high school, the "perfect couples" who the minute they broke up started bad-mouthing each other. It's always interesting to see someone go from "I love her with all my heart" to "that bitch took everything I had, and she was probably doing my best bud behind my back too". ![]()
The point is, when a relationship ends there's going to be bitterness. But how you choose to deal with that defines your character. It's easy to blame the other person or make them out to be the villain in your life story. But the fact is that sometimes shit happens, love isn't enough, or she really was doing your best bud behind your back. (and vice versa; guys don't come off in the best light all the time either)
So deal with it, get angry if you have to, but for fuck's sake find a healthier way to deal with it. Some of the world's best poetry and writings are on the subject of love and how sometimes it sucks. Take solace in the fact that you're not alone, but don't use it as a license to ruin the reputation of someone you claimed to love at one point. Is it tempting to do so? Yes, but the easiest path isn't always the best. ![]()
So if you'll excuse me, I have to go see if anyone has posted anything about me cheating on them with their best friends...because it's all lies, I tells ya. Lies ![]()
I don't like these type of websites.
The best revenge (if that's what you need to get over a relationship) is to move on. The heart is resilient if you just let nature take its course. But websites like these seem to harp on the idea of making accusations on an relationship that is dead.
Life is too precious to waste it on rehashing the past.
Just my 2 pennies.
