F1 really is a cure for insomnia these days, it is worse than snooker, I turned over and watched Sky News

Was much better in the days of Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet and co.....maybe for me that's because it was here in Adelaide before Melbourne pinched it from us. :(

God they are gonna show it again at 3:40pm, I will have to go for a walk or something

I always like to watch F1. Maybe it was a bit boring when M.Schumacher won every race a few years ago, but now its quite interesting again. And finaly Ive got my fellow countryman in BMW team :thumb:

F1 engines put ME to sleep on TV too.....in the flesh they cause blood to piss from your ears and the gearboxes can make you throw up on every shift, but on TV they are like a swarm of buzzing bees.

Tell you what makes it boring.

  1. Drivers have "arcade mode"...yes the 22 best drivers on earth need to use traction control...a system designed to stop 95 yearolds spinning out in tesco carparks.
  2. rear diffusers designed to stop a car getting close behind. Every driver whines about "dirty air" yet every team deliberately makes it.

But worst of all.

  1. J A M E S A L L E N

what a festering, fungus lipped, puss seeping, cunt he really is.

This morning I saw 2 overtaking manouvres, some dodgy ferarri team radio attempted cheating (well done Massa, they'll sack you for not letting the fucking german through, but everyone else knows you don't take it up the shitter now like Irv and Rubinhuo did)....what was pishflaps talking about....someone having just had a baby, or what had happened in qually, or ANYTHING but what was on the screen.

I honestly, truly want him to die...he is ruining my favourite sport......how can anyone talk more bollox than Murray did? They should honestly just leave martin brundle on hi own, he's the best commentator any sport ever had.....it's like having pelee and marahandballa and Bestie all rolled into one commentating on footie. Wanker wanker wanker. He actually reduced me to tears of frustration this morning because something of note hapened and he SHOUTED BRUNDLE DOWN wen he tried to mention it.....so he could talk about fucking testing sessions or something.

Honestly....unless you;re a real fan and can understand what way an F1 car really behaves on your own.....is it any wonder you may think they;re just trundling round under full control, since the nice commentator has time to tell you about what karina schumacher's wearing....totally ignoring some near death experiences and fantastic overtaking.

Gonna have to watch the re-run now to see if they're gonna kick Ferarri's cheating car out.....nice of F.O.M. to put a camera on the offending wing :D

I turned it on yesterday and saw the GREAT Steve Rider presenting? Has he shaefully defected? And who is going to present to Open Golf on BBC?

Yes he has gone over to the other side.

Very luck to get out of Bahrain alive after he CORRECTED THE KING live on air.....daft bugger.

I was just getting used to Count Rosenthal.

Nah! Rosenthal was and is fucking useless and everything he does. The man knew less than i did about F1.

What did Rider say to the king?

Interupted and corrected him on the correct way to pronouce a driver's name...can't remember which....King gave him SUCH a look. It DID take me 8 years to get used to Jim. Myabe they should let Rider commentate....he may be capable of looking at the screens or out the window.

PAH ! Bring back the superb FRED DINEAGE :thumb:

No way...fred has to keep making "How" forever. ( i can hear a few heads nodding and inner voices saying "how did I just KNOW a twat like you watched that cambo")

Charlie Cox would be an exceptional choice to replace James Allen when I finally take a contract out on the feckin oxygen thief. Brundle knows everything so he has to stay. John Watson's damned good too but he's WAY too proud of being from NI LOL....he never misses a good stat.

BYW....the GP masters kicks off again soon....meaning you DO get to see Mansell and Fittipaldi and Piquet and all those boys in identical machines....with no arcade help either.

I'd LOVE to hear Murray commentating on Footie, that would be FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTASIC.

similar to many sports. road- bike racing- Tour d'Italie. Tour de France. X-country bike racing. not with a few hundred thousand dollars and hours of technolgy under it it but. if anybody loses their nerve, there's a fast chance for lots of pain or a quick death.

that the commenators can be so blasé giving the regional tourism plugg or speak of their outfits..right.

A wee bit of cheating is a great thing ;)

BTW.....has anyone ever noticed there are two versions of the Italian National Anthem....one for F1 and one for everything else.....I've heard it at Footie and Rugby matches and it's quite a solid sombre tune....stick a ferrari on the top step of the podium and they wheel out the "hardcore remix", 30 bpm quicker and a much jauntier groove.

Anyway, commentators have ONE job, and it's not talking about what sodding driver's rear left tyre dude's Mrs dropped a kid.
