brooklyn heights has great architecture (brownstones and cobblestone streets) and you can walk along the promenade which has great views of manhattan. also, prospect park is lovely (designed by the same men who designed central park). and you can't visit brooklyn without going to coney island, having an original nathan's hot dog and riding the cyclone! for a unique cultural experience visit borough park, which has one of the world's largest concentrations of hasidic jews.
brooklyn is the largest new york borough as far as population, and probably the one with the proudest identity.my maternal grandfather was a brooklynite and i love the place.
p.s. this should be in BCD!
