2-1 Boro... But only cos I don't want the Hammers to get Charlton in the next round... You see I teach at Darren Bent's old shcool and every time he has a big game (e.g. England debut) they dredge this fact up, so if we lost to Charlton in the semis, I'd just get too much grief from the kids and it's bad enough as it is being a Hammer... Is that a round about enough reason?

There are only two possible results, they can win, lose or draw

One of my best mates used to teach John Terry in Barking.

He still rues the day he had to sit young Terry down and have the chat, "Now, you've got to pull your socks up in Chemistry, John, because you might not make it as a footballer."

:abovelol: Bent wasn't too bad by all accounts... Mind you, have to feel sorry for him with that surname and all... Can you imagine being at school with a moniker like that?

Amusingly, one of the teachers in the same dept had previously had the same conversation with one Tony Cottee.

Just stuck 25 notes on Boro at three's at HT.

50p for each of their fans who've made the journey!

Surely the likes of Yakubu and Hasselbaink can get more into the game in this half.

Charlton will win 8-0 now.

Strange game - watching first half, it seemed shit, but as they said on the TV, looking back over the first 45 there has been a lot of action... Crap finishing though...

I was willing them on for you...But 0-0 it is..fixture pile up for the Boro, money's not exactly awash round here,so the fans pick and choose their games, and Boro are a small club anyhow..I'll ring the taxi to fetch them back:thumb:....They'll be misssing the smog down the Smoke no doubt...The Replay will see a full house I'm sure:uhoh:

Its great to be in the draw for the semi-final tommorrow,a chance to do a convincing league and cup double over Chelsea is somewhat mouthwatering in itself, but in an FA cup final is fairytale stuff.Liverpool would be much tougher for Boro....West Ham 50/50 game. I'm looking forward to the draw:thumb:

In order of preference for the Hammers:

  1. Boro/Charlton
  2. Chelsea
  3. Liverpool

But, as you said, great to just be in the draw...
