Yeah, that's more what I'm trying to go for in my own life right now. I've done the "pity me, I'm a miserable bastard" routine long enough. It's not still 1996 and I'm not the same spotty teenager who can't get a date (well, I haven't had a date in a while, but it's just because I haven't had the balls really). I'm a good guy, and I can be a really good boyfriend to whatever female that wants that. 
Unfortunately, most of the ones who I want would like a guy who treats them like shit. That's something I'll never do, no matter how much my self-esteem might boost or burst 
So anyway, it's easy to piss and moan about how you "can't get any" when you're not even trying. But try, and try often, and you might just find things aren't as bad as you think. I'm not quite sure I believe that myself right now, it just seems to sound good :p
