Without wishing to sound like a KillJoy - but failing - I don't think New Order's 'Back to Mine' is their choices at all, is it?! Or might be from a vague notion of what they fancied, but the tracks were eventually chosen by A.N.Other.

It's in the sleevenotes, no?

Or did I just make that up?!

Amusingly, I took out the DVD of the Second Coming recently, from which the Christopher Ecclestone monologue is lifted. A decision based purely on this track.

Not a bad bit of drama, as it goes. They'd cut a bit from the middle of the speech in the Orbital track though, can't remember what though exactly?

S'a great TV movie.

I'm still mad with Eccleston for wimping out of Who.

Not sure what they left out as I only saw it on TV... but the words fit the music perfectly and this is now one of my all time fave Orbital tracks.

It's great live as well, ah the memories of that final gig in Maida Vale! :smoking:

Still, got Long Range to look forward to now (Phil Hartnoll) in May at Brighton and at The Big Chill in August, and new albums from both Long Range and Paul Hartnoll to look forward to - time to move one... :)

Hmmm... There's something missing here, a certain band from Down Under..

ah well, there's always something missing. No Husker Du, Replacements, Mission Of Burma, Big Black, Black Flag, Flipper, The Lyres, Kendra Smith and Opal, Butthole Surfers, etc.

As for the missing Aussie band, I'd go for When People Are Dead today. Kinda irked there's no Nick Cave/Birthday Party, Scientists, or Beasts Of Bourbon either.

Not seen this before. Have they released it as a b-side or something?!

Have seen them do Cabaret Voltaire's "Nag Nag Nag" live though.

Hiya Al,it was on some compilation tribute CD of Human League covers, the name escapes me but I'll let you know.It was on Amazon a while back. And it's excellent.
