I based my "hispanics voting Republican" comment on the fact that a lot of Hispanics are conservative due to their Catholic faith, and thus fall more in line with the conservative Republicans (at least that's what my Sociology professors have stated over the years). I'm willing to bet that if you look at the voting records nationwide for registered Latino voters, there will be a heavy bias towards the GOP.
I reserve the right to be wrong, of course (it's kind of like saying "all blacks vote Democrat". There's a grain of truth to it, but it's a stereotype nonetheless) ![]()
