I think you're taking too much delight in reminding us Yankees that the Aussies are gaining an hour.

if it were up to me we'd have permanent daylight savings time, and an extra hour in winter. who wants to come home in the dark. i don't give a toss about having daylight in the mornings.

Our daylight savings time begins on the first Sunday in April at 2AM. Right now, it's 12:39 in the East Coast.

In response to Johnny's post.

Yeah well most of mine do. Monday is the exception. Which is probably the best day to have a late start on. Im just terrible with mornings though.

Goddamn Virgin Mobile. If they can sign the Sex Pistols and sponsor ultraindurance airflights why the fook can't they provide a telephone service that recognizes DST or provide phones that the clock can be programed?

DOH!!! Shut off phone, restart to reestablish contact with mothership. Still, they should have printed this in the manual.

powering off my cell phone did not help.

Instead, it wasn't until 4 pm Pacific that Cingular finally got off their asses to recognize daylight savings time.
