You are giving in to the stereotypes of what passes for "Southern culture". And I am insulted, sirrah.

Actually, I think Green Acres as a show rocked. I loved the theme song. Also, the dialogue was outstanding for a sitcom.

You should watch the reruns on TVLand if you don't believe me. Very clever and wicked verbal barbs are found in Hooterville indeed.
