as far as i can tell, you in oz can only get them hooked to a mobile phone network, and they then hook up to the net through the new 3 (video etc) network.

it should work. they advertise a number of phones with web access. that 3 network is still very new and only available in cities, outsider there it will be just a normal phone on the gsm network.
Track list not included and I have only played it enough to judge the quality. Given the fact that he plays Beatle tunes as well as his own I would say yes. Also, the show sold out in 30 minutes unlike the half empty NIN I saw earlier this year.
Got bootleg from my butcher. Plan to give it to me mum.
Agreed on the Beatles tunes, but Paully's output... well, I was going to say gets worse every year, but it's been so long since I listened, I have no idea if it's true or not. Decent bloke, though.

38 songs, it's really impressive... just too bad we can't have a similar New Order concert, just imagine how good it would be.
But since The Cure is not really about energy on stage, they can afford it.

Au contraire, mon ami. Guitarist extraordinaire Porl is a whirling dervish onstage. Dreamboat bassist** Simon Gallup is all over the stage. Like all drummers, Jason Cooper sits, so he's certainly not less energetic than any other drummer. It's only the beloved Robert Smith who remains rooted at his microphone.

Sure Robert does not dance around like Herr Sumner buthe plays the guitar much more. A three hour cure gig aint a non-energy event. The fact is that NO cannot possibly play for three hours. Besides, makes life easier for bootleggers.

I disagree entirely. 38 songs, by any artist, is way too much. I think New Order have got it just right. If anything, I think they're a couple of sonsg too long, especially considering they're basically the same tranche of songs each night now. 38 songs by New Order and I'd have left by half-time.
I sort of agree. The Cure did a one off gig, so 38 songs as a years quota fair enough. Sure, if NO did a one off gig i wouldnt mind seeing them do 38 songs. Not gig after gig though. Especially if it consisted of sub standard versions of JD songs.
if new order did 38 songs, well actually hear songs we haven't heard for a while. that's one positive. an hour and a half for a gig seems just about right to me though.
