Video Editors/converter to dvd

can anyone suggest a good video editor, that will also convert video files to dvd, the ones i have tried is TMPGEnc dvd author and Ulead dvd movie factory, both not really good packages

I've been having good luck with the AVS video software in windows. There's also a thing called "dvdsanta" that even managed to succesfully convert a realplayer video ( the apollo) to DVD, when even Linux failed cos of "trip step" errors in it.

Obvious you don;t BUY software to replace the fact that video editing was withheld from the OS you bought....so just download it somewhere.
