I worked for a deadhead, it had its advantages, when they were within 500 Miles of NYC, he would go to ALL the gigs, sometimes 20 straight days. this left me and my friend in charge of the store(it was a comic book store and we were 18 years old) the drawback was that he had over 10 Billion Boots and played them non-stop when he was there

it seemed like half my high school were deadheads. i knew kids who had been to 50-60 shows by the time they were 18 and had over 500 bootlegs. i dunno, those 20-minute guitar solos never really interested me. i never needed a miracle.

I think i'm related to deadheads. Everytime I tell my Uncle about gigs i've been to, he always goes on about 5 hours of the Grateful Dead somewhere near Wigan decades ago.

Most of my good friends are deadheads. Better than shithop fans. I do tire of their general liberalism but generally they are fun and honest people and great connections to killer weed.

Why the worst of the psychedelic bands became the most popular is beyond me. Kinda like the worst bands of today being the most po... Oh, now I get it.

As much as I like a lot of the band's studio stuff...I just don't get the appeal.
