How can I re-record a mp3 file using just part of the it? Like it's 4 minutes lenght song and I want another file of this song with just the record from 2:00 to 3:00.

Audactiy (free open software) should do that in a nice elegant way for you.

I downloaded Audacity. I can load the file, choose the part I want and "copy", but I don't know how to create another file with this copy and then save...
