Poor buggers must be sitting around thinking, 'oh Cozzie has contacted us; mebbe she's heard of some sort of cure'.
Then they get handed the trivet.
Burt, the trivet is an individualistic work of art. The kids will love it, even if they don't understand NO. It's all for a good cause.
what could they possibly use it for?

I wonder if we can put a tracking device on the trivet to determine its ultimate destination...
but but... the tracking device would be worth money. You might as well put up a 'used tracking device' up on Ebay.

Not sure Ron. I don't know of many kids that go clay pigeon shooting.

I picked the trivet because it has a flat surface. It's very good for a beginner. Now, if only I can go to the pottery shop again to make my teaset.
Cath wrote: Thats why I said it would be in a gallery
Cath, don't start that again.
[magenta]cozmonite61[/magenta] wrote: Guys, it's just a piece of pottery. It's art.
Right on the first one, (til some guy with a hammer put it out of its ceramic misery)
Art?.. COME ON!! FFS!
It's not FAIR I've never been accosted by wankertologists...and even if I ever am, I do not carry the video equipment required to politely share the ensuing scenes with my dear friends here and in the "real world".

Why? Im sure some of the stuff I did when I was your age would end up in there. I just had enough sense not to post the pictures on the internet. ![]()

I understand you were planning to make a JD tea set. I can almost see Ian rising from the grave, 'The Fog' style. ![]()
I just looked up FFS on the Urban Dictionary website. I can understand what Burt's saying, and obviously I'm not going to listen to what he is saying. I can assure you that my trivet is not FFS- folly for sale. ![]()

I haven't seen "The Fog." What is the effect like, with your mentioning of Ian?

Emma, go on the website. FFS has other definitions aside from Burt's interjection.

Are you saying the film stole the plot idea from "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Haven't seen that one, either, but it does involve a hook.

Um no.. think it came out originally in about 1980. You'd be first, I reckon.
