Could have been different if Mr Bent hadn't missed a couple of sitters..Grrr..
And if we had Steve Gibson as a chairman.
Still, Boro have had one of those crazy weeks. Can't deny them it. Not bad for a small town in Northern England.![]()
Your acknowledgement of our very own Steve Gibson, shows class Burt
But he's going nowhere
Maclaren may be off to England, but who cares when your chairman is Steve Gibson,a man living his dream![]()

Don't ya just love small but well supported clubs having their moments of glory occasionally?
Unfortunately Charlton had em pre-Christmas.

Ok.. mebbe i was speaking for Charlton. Rags to riches story etc. Bankrupt in 1984, then slowly bought back by the supporters, and to be fair, haven't done bad. Generally not hated either.

Same story for Boro...Bankrupt,reformed in 1986 must be the youngest in the league. You can see the similarities between the two clubs.I would'nt swap Gibson as a chairman with any other, even Abramovich.Maybe we'll tap Mourinho up in the summer when Steve Maclaren goes off to coach dear old Blighty![]()
