Got a job this weekend; nice couple; his birthday......lovely house, (3 extremely BIG dogs....I digress - pussycats really........ouch).....anyway.,...
the guy takes his very elderly parents home just a few streets away on Sunday night after Easter Sunday lunch.....about 9pm; parks up and walks his Parents to their door. Takes them in to the hallway, makes sure the alarm is off, the ligthts are on etc etc....comes back to the hall; front door is open, re-sets the alarm, turns around and his car has gone. Right there from under his nose in 2 minutes? Never heard a sound.
I wish those dogs had been in the back; guard or no guard - preferably no guard......but he now says thank god they weren't in the car, cos they would probably have gone as well....
Best part of this tale is that his phone was in the car. After the initial shock, he calls his own phone and some guy answers and says.......'yeah i have got your car, how much do you want to pay to get it back...........' ffs. Solihull Plod at their best, are still investigating.
