so far he loves it. especially canberra. before he left people said what do want there. it is a boring place. as you can see we always found something to see and do.
as far as i know he is here for three weeks. he will travel to Cairns by car and they fly out from there toward home via Singapore.
It would have been good for you to catch up with a fellow NO fan. If you're in the same situation as me there are not many people around that share our obsession. I'm lucky I have my daughter though - she loves them as much as me. :)

over at digital republic solitude invited you for drinks.
So, where are you off to today?
I was in Canberra in 99 and we went to the Floriade which was stunning. I remember going to a place, can't remember the name of it, where they had a big walk in aviary with parrots etc and lots of brill shops.
i let him go off to the war memorial today, as he wanted to see all that ANZAC day stuff. it is not my cup of tea. we'll do a few things this afternoon.
...to Ms. Peel and all the other peeps who looked at this thread: it's gonna get my last day here in A.C.T.; enjoyed it very much; going out now for lunch with Ron in the German Club...
...moving north then, as mentioned, trying to have a good time in Australia (some pics fill following hopefuly)...
cheers,
The Saviour. (@ Rons place) ![]()

Have a great time up north. You'll find it a lot bloody hotter there than Canberra! :)
No, but I do have two computer desks. And a kitchen table that looks like it's vacationing in Australia. ![]()

well you can't have it back, as you see it is in use.
It looks much better in it's natural decor. ![]()
*Thinks we could start a series of kitchen table threads*
