Sam Jackson must have been paid handsomely for this film. Sounds pretty awful. Wanted to see a film last night but there was nothing I wanted to see.
Binoche in a shed
I won't be banned for saying the words "binoche" and "shed" here, Will I?:p

I don't think it's released yet.

So how is it a cult classic?

Word of mouth, the trailer's supposed to be online somewhere (though I haven't seen it yet) ![]()
I just love the title, it tells you everything you need to know (there are snakes, on a plane. What more do you need?) ![]()
Also, I heard Samuel L. Jackson makes a great one-liner about the "motherfuckin snakes" :D

According to the Wikipedia site, merchandise had been released such as T-shirts. Anyway, fad is catching up.
I was in that "you CANNOT be serious" state of mind....stupid idea-even for a horror flick!!!
Judging from I just saw a trailer-Yes they are serious!!
and it seriously SUCKS!!! just laughably bad.
defo deseeves the full on treatment from the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" Bunch...
as far as a sequel goes...ok Samuel L prolly buys it cause the snake is the thing...
so in order for there to be a sequel-the snake has to be a really good actor.

You'd think they could've made a better title. Or had snakes that didn't look like extras from the Anaconda flicks.
Sam Jackson played the hold up man in Coming to America. Does he ever play a role without a gun. Yeah, 51st State.
It's becoming a cult classic by word of mouth over the internet. Because of the awesome title, the movie's ridiculous premise and Samuel Jackson it's become kitsch even before it's been released in theaters :D When it was discovered that Sam Jackson was involved in such a movie, so many people were bewildered, but embraced it because of its sheer ridiculousness. It's popularity is carried on by people who post designs of T-shirts on web forums, splice audio from the trailer to certain pictures, or even use posts consisting simply of: 'SNAKES ON A PLANE' as a method to troll threads, etc.
