Grandstand is being axed after 48 years. :cry:

Disgraceful. But what can you do when you've got fuck all to show anymore?

In truth, it's been sh!t since Football Focus was taken out of the quation and made a separate show on its own. If I'm in Saturday arvos I'll just stick Sky on anyways and watch ever goal come in there.

I hope people put as much effort into trying to get soem decent, biggish sporting events back on the Beeb as they will I'm sure put into trying to save Grandstand... As folks have said it's useless without some decent sport to show...

fuck i dunno you know. Showjumping, Down hill skiing and Audley Harrison fights are great to watch. :lol:

If they could get Audley dressed up in one of them equestrian get-ups doing some extreme ski-jumping, I might just be persuaded to turn back on, otherwise... :shrug:

all you get on bbc is the six nations & poxy cup competitions
