Anyone been watching this? Best programme on telly...till next Tuesday when Lost is back. Thought Ruthy was a gonner tonight.

Missy Jem knows one of the geezers in it, I'm sure she'll fill in the details, far be it from me to steal her namedropping thunder :ignore:

Ruth's already won it, allegedly.

Can't say there's one nice redeeming feature about her, but she does seem the most 'professional' (in the most horrible sense of the world). Like fcuk would you wanna work with her, mind.

Generally like Ancell and Paul but you do give the impression they're both a bit too wide-boy, Paul especially so, for Sugar.

is this the same apprentice we've had for a while with donald trump, where the winner gets to work for the don and he gets to point at the minions and say 'you're fired' to the sorry losers? or a different show entirely? :skeptic:

Same thing Agent, only With Alan Sugar.

I think Paul was Jem's mate, not sure tho. Is that appallingly gobby Asian fella still about?

Yeah, it's Paul that MJ knows.

Syed got sacked last night. Shame, cos he made for great TV. Despite being a complete and utter cock.

I seem to recall there being a strawblonde neurotic who falls to bits and starts screaming wimmin's rights if anyone says she's shit. And a pinchfaced bimbette, who MAY BE very bright but does not look it at all.

Yes it's Paul i know, he's a brilliant lad, total knob. He's actually had the BBC's Head Producer on to talk about a presenting job - watch this space! I knew he'd not won it, but he couldn't say who had. I reckon Ruth is probably the best one for the job.

i've never watched the show in either country but www.rajforcongress.com someone from the show is running for congress in Philadelphia nad Montgomery County

I heard a story that Sugar won't be doing any more cos he rated nobody from the current series. I have to agree with him. They've obviously been selected for their potential to provide good TV rather than their abilities.

Thing I always find confusing is why all these "driven, high acheivers" are all bursting their balls to score a job working for some other cnut. If they're all such big "winners" why aren't they out there doing it for themselves? Very odd.

Missed last nights show. Is that big blonde thing still in it? She's dynamite. Those legs....

Trump is a stuck-up ugly old cunt, but he doesn't seem to care about that when at the end of the day he goes to his massive, gold-abundant apartment and shags his insanely gorgeous wife.

Guess money DOES buy everything

i was talking to my mum the other day and the silly bint said 'i think alan sugar is one of the best bosses a person could have' i said, do you not think he puts it on a bit for the telly, she reckoned not???

madness, good program though i alwayts like it when he lays into the losing team.

is this alan sugar as brutal as the don?

after a quick glance at wikipedia i see that he was once chairman of spurs. that sums it up, i suppose. :evil4:

they should have used richard branson: 'sorry love, but i don't think things are working out. this is as hard for me as it is for you. best of luck.'

i've never seen donald trump's apprentice, by the way. the only reality TV i can stand is the early rounds of american idol when hundreds of thousands of people try out for the show and simon cowell rips their innards out and returns them on a platter. that's quality television.

dunno what they traded as over there....if at all. VERY famous for buidling entire VCR's on one board, same with everything they built....and this was before it was the way it's done. Everything they made was very cheap, and infinitey disposable.

They bought the ZXspectrum out if that helps any.

The whole thing was rigged from the start.

It is understandable that Alan doesn't want his employees to fail to follow specific instructions, but on both occasions in rounds 3 and 8. When one team either failed to buy a tyre at a reasonable price, or - more significantly - two team members failed to meet a deadline, the penalty deductions turned convincing victories into narrow defeats.

Spread betters who knew (like the bookies) that Alan would never hand the job to Sharon were enjoying a good return until two weeks ago!

Evertonians, like myself, should know all about commercial corruption these days...:deal:

What a stinker Paul had tonight, eh?! Just had to go.

The Big Issue (Gishoo!) comment alone deserved an almighty slap. Showed himself up there big time.

Wondered what the fcuk Michelle had done to get this far (despite having nice pins) but she's done alright tonight.

Am pretty certain Ruth gets the job though, have read it enough times elsewhere.

Bollocks would I want to work with her though.

Talk about spoiler Jarvo!

I want the blonde checkout girl to win. Ruth is a gobby arrogant cow who should be flung off canary wharf.

Ansell for me any day. What a top bloke, even in defeat.

And Paul? Well, he's just a cunt and got what he deserved.

I didn't like that bit. "You've come along way from the checkouts".

She was 15, ferfucksake.

Everyone I know did checkouts when they were 15.

You would though, wouldn't you?! Do her?! It's been mentioned here before by others (notably G.Vegas) but now that I know I could be a stay-at-home hubby with the wonga she's on she's suddenly gone up in my estimation, even more.

Amazed Ancell didn't crack. 6 years at Millwall. He MUST'VE done some baaaad things in his time.

As the curly haired Jewish barrow boy himself noted, why the funk would someone on (allegedly) 100K, running their own show want to take a pay cut to go and work for him?! Methinks a close inspection of her last Annual Return would reveal a somewhat more "modest" salary.

Still ride the arse off it mind :thumb:

I liked Paul,I thought he might give Ruth a run for her money. But what a shite thing to say? "I'm annoyed by Big Issue sellers in the street, because they don't take the trouble to REALLY sell it".:nono:

Fair play as a salesman though. I truly believed his bird was beautiful all along ... er, until I saw her on the aftershow. :uhoh:

Now, Now, she's probably a really nice person :evil4:

As for Michelle, nowt special whatsoever, she just looks like hundreds of other people you see out and about , No individuality, she also seems to have a distinct lack of personality.

Shame either of them have to win really. Ansell should have got it. Good entertainment nevertheless

Damn. I must of missed the one where that black fella with the gogs got fired. WTF did he do to get that far anyway? That Paul just wanted lampin, and I wouldn't employ that Wolves girl just for her whiny voice.

hopefully no more will be made now. it's had its day.

Paul and Ansell both got fired together so you haven't missed one. You can't blame Amsterdam for your memory this time

I thought Paul came across really well all series, but he did make a twat of himself last night - i was gutted, he genuinely is a top bloke. Oh well, my money is on Ruth, that other bird is on £100k a year anyway!

just seen THE BADGER versus THE BLONDE on the front of today's Daily Manc. Don't like the Blondes pencil thin eyebrows, so i'd go for the Badger. mind you, if it was a similar size stripey "down there", then i might change me mind.
