Bloody class, i can't say i've heard a band that sounds like them at all as far as dance music goes, which with all the shit floating about these days is a good thing.

Got into them via Trainspotting back in the day but I did make an effort to buy some of their stuff beyond the soundtrack. Think I've got the Born Slippy .NUXX CD single + a couple others, Second Toughest In The Infants, Everything Everything and A Hundred Days Off.
Occasionally give Everything Everything a listen before a night out because it's just all-out relentless dance music with a noisy crowd cheering in the background 
perfect thing to get you in the mood for an night on the tiles. Two Months Off was a fcuking great housey single too although I've never actually listened to an Underworld album all the way through (in one sitting). They're not that type of "band" I suppose.
Have they got new material coming out?
Underworld are great - got all their albums and saw them live on their "2 Months Off" tour in Brixton a couple of years ago - top band! :)
They do have 2 internet-only single which you can buy off their website...
They are also scoring the soundtrack to a new Jude Law film - not sure when that's out?
Also they're due to release some new stuff fairly soon, and tour the UK in the summer...
Oh, and a small known fact, but they got their name off a b-movie called (surprisingly enough) "Underworld", off which they contributed some songs when they were known as "Fleur" (or something like that). My ex team leader, Kevin Attew, was the director of the film - he said that he had a whole load of unreleased "Fleur" songs in his attic (wished I'd got a copy of that)! :p

I got really into them after seeing them play at the Temptation Night supporting New Order at the Ally Pally on New Year's Eve 1998.
Just for the record, they were previously called Freur and had a 'squiggle' as a logo long before Prince...!

Downloaded it and deleted it after two or three listens.
Just didn't work for me.
Underworld haven't been the same since Darren Emerson left; his last major contribution was the backing track for Two Months Off, which i think is their best single. I suspect their best days are long behind them without him.
I got into them when i heard 'Hmmm... Skyscraper, I love you' and 'Rez'. Saw them a couple of times in small venues, and then fell out of love with them. Like Alistair, the gig at Ally Pally got me interested again. Best album I reckon is Beaucoup Fish.

like ally, i got into them after trainspotting. my favourite album is second toughest--pearl's girl is their best after born slippy (one of the anthems of the summer of 1996 for me).

Bloody hell I remember them,didn't realise that was them. I saw them at the Temptation night with NO at Manchester Evening News Arena a couple of days before with BARON von NINJAPIG! Excellent live. Get the Everything Everything DVD good concert!

Astonishing album, some of the best electronic music ever to come out of these here Islands.
Subsequet albums....Charlie fueled badger's inerds...like listening to ice melt but not as varied.
i can't stand born slippy, think its one of the only tracks they've done that i can't listen to, over exposure might have something to do with it and the fact that they've done so much beter before and since.

I totally agree.
'Born Slippy' for me is New Order's equivalent to 'Blue Monday' Whenever I mention New Order or Underworld to anybody who doesn't really know the bands, those two tracks are always known, it drives me mental! 
I have to say that I really like 'A Hundred Days Off' too...

There is a 2CD Best Of out,it normally goes in the HMV sale for about £5.
