There are wiser experts than I on Orbital in these hallowed fora. I'll get walloped for this, but I'm VERY partial to the first Album, which as far as I am aware is unnamed. But probably Their second, variously known as the Brown Album, or Orbital II is most accessible.
It's hard for me cos there's only about 3 orbital tracks I don't adore. Sod it....find a live gig, becaue their ability to play live defines them as much as anything. True sons of the Lady Gilbert.
Nick King and Al Jarvis, among others are MASSIVE orbital fans, and will probably have summat to say.
Cheers Steve. Looking on a couple of sites, one of them has Blue Album as their most recommended and another has Orbital 2

I'd agree, should imagine most Orbital fans would quote the Brown Album as their favourite.
Got a soft spot for Snivilisation itself, though I prefer the tracks on the Brown album. Does that make sense?! Think it's just cos all the tracks on Snivilsation remind me of certain people, though there's nothing to touch the quality of Impact or Remind.
Wasim, am surprised the Blue album is listed as recommended. It's not bad, but not a patch on their first two albums.
To be really boring, you can't go actually wrong with 'Work' which is basically their Greatest Hits. But that's perhaps too obvious.
