Yeah, I agree. They go to the scene and spend 15 minutes telling us what we already know, when they could bring us the update in 2 minutes.

Provincial government is selling a part of a national park so somebody could build houses over it... 
And a guy who managed to fraud the government for 1.5M$ in the recent political scandal in Canada got 2.5 years of prison.. the way canadian prison goes, he'll be out in 5 months after doing only 1/6 of his time...
the latest is that veteran reporter richard carlton (channel 9) has collapsed and died at beaconsfild at a press conference.
i guess i'll have to tune into channel 9 news in half an just to see how they cover it.

We had the story on the weekend of a poor little girl who was severly injured in 2003(lost her feet and sustained burns to a large percentage of her body) by an elderly driver crashing into her child care centre.
Unbelievably she has been hit by another car again (an 81 year old driver at a pedestrian crossing) and is in a critical condition.
Makes you wonder what the poor kid has done.
Fears grow for missing man By Bolton Evening News Reporter A MAN from Bury has vanished after driving friends into Manchester city centre.
Mark Muscat, aged 46, of Victoria Court, Whitefield, was last seen by his flatmates when he dropped them off at The Printworks at 10am on Tuesday May 2.
Mr Muscat and his blue Honda CRV have not been seen since.
He is described as 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build, with short grey hair, a goatee beard and brown eyes.
He usually wears glasses and speaks with a northern accent. He has piercings in his nose, tongue, arms, nipples and stomach, and a large, distinctive tattoo on his neck. His family says he has recently been depressed and his disappearance is completely out of character. Anybody with information is asked to contact Whitefield police on 0161 872 5050.

greater manchester police have announced that following a tip of from the public that mr curtis has been found alive and well despite being help captive in a cellar in macclesfield (wonder where that was eh)for over 25 yrs and fed on little more than shepards pie and vimto mr curtis was in remarkable shape. the members of new order have all been arested and charged with kidnap,false imprisonment,fraud,and false reporting of a death after dawn raids on their respective homes.
the police spokseman went on to alaborate how mr curtis had been forced to write lyrics for the band during captivity and that the kidnap and imprisonment was brought about by sheer greed after mr curtis had threatened to leave the group in 1980.
it appears that mr curtis had been sending coded messages to the outside world in a bid to make people away of his plight "help me somebody help me,i wonder where i am?" was one quote that the spokesman quoted amongst others. despite his ordeal mr curtis was keen to know how his work had been recieved during his absence "jetstream" in particular as mr curtis judged it to be one of his best works.
at this point footage is shown of an bearded ian wearing a thermal blanket and holding a cup of soup being led to an ambulance from what looked like a farm building,as the doors was being closed he could be seen throwing of the blanket and starting to dance whilst shouting J.E.T.
