Can't remember the last World Cup having such excellent online coverage. EDIT - whoa don't know what all happened there. 10 minutes to sort . out.

Download Festival was amazing. Highlights:

Killing Joke (obviously) Guns N Roses (turned up on time, but Rose walked off twice. Put on a great show) Cathedral (proper doom metal) The Prodigy (got an elbow up the head) Gay For Johnny Depp (camp as a row of pink tents) Ginger and the Sonic Circus (good old rock n roll)

Morning folks! Evening Ron! Off work today... Still don't feel great, but better than yesterday, could probably have gone in, but I did that yesterday and then felt like shite all day... At least the weather's cooler today, even a bit of rain this morning in the fens... Need to get myself better in time for Thursday - England vs TNT, haven't watched a single WC match in the boozer yet, but I hope to be ok (both health and nerves wise) in time for that one... Gonna dig out some vinyl and have a proper music session today... Starting with some NO - EGG/C&W/Mesh...

Feeling better for having decided to take the day off, Mick... Taking the time to listen to some stuff on vinyl since I never do normally... Have just been through some NO... Sad to report my copy of Run2 is in less than minty mint condition... Dunno how it got like that... I also need to stay focused - too easy to waste a day... May do some shopping later and if the weather clears up a few jobs in the garden...

whats wrong with wasting a day......one of my favourite past times

I hate not being busy - that's why I went into work yesterday despite arguably feeling worse than today... It gets me down if I don't get something done when I'm not at work, even if it is just a couple of little jobs around the house... Daft, I suppose, but true...
