William DuVall is the man. Excellent frontman and an amazing singer. He will probably never be as good as Layne, but the important thing is he doesn't try to BE Layne.

Amazing setlist! All the songs I would have put down as ones I wanted to hear were played. Opening with Sludge Factory was unreal, then straight into Dam That River and the crowd went mental.

Angry Chair and Man In The Box back to back sounded incredible. During those 2 songs the floor of the Astoria was literally shaking underneath us, and I'm not even joking man.

Was really funny after they went off stage, DuVall came back on first for the encore, then Jerry, Mike and Sean all came on in DuVall style black afro wigs to play the next tune. Jerry's fell off when he started rocking properly and I almost got it but some guy got there like a milisecond before me, I was pretty gutted.

Finishing with Would? is just fuckin quality. Amazing song and the first AiC song I ever heard. Genius.

DuVall really impressed me. We were walking from this place where we were playing pool up to the Astoria and he was there just walking round the streets of London, so I picked him out with my 20/20 vision and went over for a little chat and some pictures, he's a well nice guy.

Jerry Cantrell is an AMAZING guitarist!!! He rocks.

We were completely drenched after the gig and smelt of B.O all the way home probably, but I don't care cos it was incredible!

That sounds mighty impressive. Congrats lad.:thumb:

And Minx, you love it really.:evil4:

A fine gig review. Now if you just expose yourself to 6 pints of malt whiskey and a king's ransom in mind altering drugs (or just get sheddo to drop breezeblocks on your head at regular intervals for about 6 months), resultig in the absolute devastation of your intellect....there's a fuckin GLOWING career in music journalism for you lad.

Owens, where's that excellent quote you used to have in yer sig :D

Dear Andrew Eldritch, I am unattractiv, sexually immachure, lazy, stupid and meen. What career would sute me best? Journalism.
