You are a bully Ron. A 38 year old man who bullies a 19 year old teenager. And every time you’ve bullied her, I’ve stepped in. I’ve tried reasoning with you privately. I’ve pointed out that you do far worse than she does on BCD. I’ve dropped hints about backing off on you when you back off on her. You’ve never once gotten the hint. No matter how many times I’ve backed off on you, you’ve gone right back to hammering on her.
You say I’m obsessed with you? You’ve gotten it backwards Ron. You’re obsessed with bullying a 19 year old woman. And when you try to bully her, I step in. I’m not obsessed with you, Ron—you’re obsessed with her. And yes, she’s my girlfriend, and yes, I’m going to step in when you bully her.
So no more hints. I’ll spell it out for you plain and simple. Every time you try to bully my girlfriend, I’ll be all over you like white on rice. And if you leave her alone, I’ll leave you alone. Is that clear enough for you?
Now, just to make myself understood here, the reason I step in when you bully her is simple. You’ve bullied her about:

Meanwhile, you yourself are the worst offender on NOOL when it comes to:

You have absolutely no room to criticize anybody, let alone bully a young woman half your age. And no matter how many times I’ve pointed this out to you, you’ve lashed out at her every chance you get. You, Ron, are the one who’s obsessed. And from now on, every time you start in on bullying her, I’ll be right there, taking you on. There’s no escaping me, Ron. Your only choice is to tangle with me, or to back off on her.

Ron, you’re an idiot. No wonder you can’t find anybody. You know absolutely nothing about our relationship, and yet you think you’re qualified to comment on something you know nothing about? Puh-leeze.
What happened between me and Cozzie was totally unexpected, and totally undeniable, for either of us. Neither of us was looking for a relationship with the other. But when we began talking, we discovered that we actually like each other. We started out as friends. We’re still friends. We enjoy each other’s company. We will spend 4 or 5 hours on the phone, and still feel like we have so much to say when we end the call. We began as friends, and it turned into something more, something that neither of us went looking for. And I’m aware of the age difference, and I’ve been very careful about not taking advantage of her—about being clear with myself about how I feel about her, and about being very careful not to take advantage of her.

You apparently can’t imagine an honest relationship with a younger woman. That’s your character flaw, Ron, not mine. Cozzie and I have many, many things in common. Not everything, but many things. And I don’t hide who I am, and I don’t pretend to be somebody different, and neither does Cozzie. We’re open and honest with each other about who we are. I don’t try to change her, and she doesn’t try to change me. We are who we are, and it turns out we have many, many things in common. As far as the age difference, I’ve told her more than once that I wish we were the same age—that we had met back when I was 19, so we could have had all these years together, or else that I was 19 now. We’re not together because of our age difference, we’re together despite our age difference.
You know nothing about our relationship, Ron. Nothing.
One more thing.
You say it pisses you off if we acknowledge our relationship? Too fucking bad for you then. I’ve been pretty low key about it, but if I haven’t talked with my girlfriend for a day, I’m going to say hi to her when I see her. You don’t like it? Leave. Where were you when BufferLow and Buffy were here making googoo eyes at each other every day? Cat had your tongue back then?

I understand. I myself had trouble sleeping about a year ago. Went for many a 3 AM walk. It sucks.
But you never saw me using that to enhance my “crazy dude” credentials, either, which is why you didn’t know until now that I had serious trouble sleeping.

Yes, the whole of the site is bullying her. And one of the biggest bullies is a hypocrite, because he's bullying her about things which he's done to a far greater degree. Funny nobody's bullied him about his excesses.

Comrade it seems you are a very touchy fellow. i haven't got the foggiest what exactly is goin on here, but i know that continually ranting about it is goin to get nobody anywhere, as my previous comment playfully suggested. The whole of NOOL is, i find, a laid back place with some comments needed to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Thought maybe we could lighten up a bit?

I think perhaps you are taking this forum a little bit too seriously right now. Frog Chorus is a newbie to the shed (as far as I am aware), and made a point about arguing on the internet. Nothing malicious or directed at all, unless Cozzie is a retard.
As far as I can see, anything said on the net is fair game. If you choose to advertise yourselves on here, then suffer the consequences.
You could have kept it all quiet, and no-one would be none the wiser.
