just curious as this situation has come up lately, and women tend to think "oh he's leaving her for me" which is not true. And if a woman is enough of a sl*t to sleep with a married guy, she prolly should realize that the guy doesn't think super highly of her. She should have realistic expectations, imho.

edit: also came up recently. men: if you're married be straight and say you're married, for the love of christ.
I'm by no way any expert on this, but if the guy is cheating it probably means the marriage isn't doing so hot in the first place. More than likely the sex-life has dropped off, since women cool down after age and having children.
But with that being said, the guy isn't looking for his future 2nd wife either. He simply is trying to fill in that gap he's missing in his marriage. So you are right, I think, that the mistress shouldn't have high expectations going into one of these things.

I would say he repects her as a person, quite possibly could care for her. . .but I imagine it's more along the lines of how someone cares for a pet. . .probably not the respect she's looking for???

Did by accident. Guy lied about being married. but i wouldn't call it a relationship, i just went into it with expectations of a relationship.
if i knew he was married i'd have had different expectations :P :P :P 
Well...I've only done it once, and it was while I was still married...but we had already decided we were getting a divorce...so does it still count as cheating???
Anyways...Kerri was to have become my second wife, but her Catholic family would have nothing to do with a divorced non-Catholic...soooo...

A woman once cheated on her boyfriend with me, but I never did the opposite.
In 5 years, I never managed to put myself in a situation where it would be possible anyways...at job, 95% of the collegues are men, and I barely go out with friends anymore.. seems everybody has now their own business to take care off (ie woman)

Mrs SHEDi would most certainly agree with Mrs Boat... IMHO anyone who cheats on a partner's opinion of partner/lover/anyone else isn't worth a great deal...
