Aguilera Announces Comeback Album

Newlywed singer Christina Aguilera has thrilled fans by promising her first album in four years will be in stores this August. The "Genie In A Bottle" hitmaker, who married Jordan Bratman in November, has returned to the studio and is working on a retro-jazz disc to be named Back To Basics. The first single from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s jazz and blues homage will be available as early as next month. Aguilera's 2002 album Stripped sold over 3.9 million copies in the US alone.

Ok, so we know lots of you guys "over there" ie in the USofA are mad but who else has been buying this album? Venezuela? Ulan Bator? Chad?

Here in rural Ironbridge, Shropshire, we may still be living in the 18th century (we're a World Heritage Site actually, with the staggeringly beautiful, first-in-the-world, erm, iron bridge) but we know a "bad thing" when we see it. And I mean bad in a "bad" way. And Christina Aguilera is a "very bad thing".

Although the country she took her name from has much to offer, I believe.
