there's a page somewhere with links to all the podcasts, that's the way to go if you have broadband...no fannying around with streams...speaking of which I must listen to today's.

Same with me. I do want to fill all my vote slots but so far I've heard fewer than 20 songs. Being a contestant myself, I feel a bit ashamed of myself. I wonder if the deadline could be postponed a bit.
Oh it could be postponed, we tought about it to push it to June 10th with the other deadlines.. but I'm sure some other artists would not like that.
Plus, WenOrder jr is scheduled any day now, so it will be complicated after that.
Oh and I forgot to add, we have the same top 10 for 3 straight weeks... so I'm not convinced it would change the results.
If the top 10 changes by Sunday, I might see the point, but otherwise.. not sure.
Well, I didn't mean June 10 - just the weekend. But anyway, as you say, if the Top 10 has not changed for 3 weeks, then maybe it's not worth trying. Besides, I always forget that by staying home and voting I'll be going against the interest of my own band - given that I can't vote for the paperbax myself.
Anyway, it's just as good to spend the weekend knowing the result. It would be either

. In both cases, getting shitfaced on a Saturday afternoon when you know the result works better than when you mix your alcohol with a doze of anticipation.

Actually we did extend it to the sunday, so for Europeans it means you have the full week-end to vote... you didn't get the mail?
You can't vote for the paperbax because anyways if all bands would vote for themselves, it would only add one vote.. this rule was to be sure solo artist would have the same chance as bands.
BTW, I did post some other results.. seems to me the top 10 might change after all... there is *ONE* vote between 11 and 10 now.

frankly i don´t understand this, Ricardo. i could be wrong but i always play a CD to hear music. and this competition is about music in spite of the people playing it. of course that if 2 songs are equally good in my opinion and one is from someone i respect and love then i´ll vote for him. nothing wrong about that. but voting without listening? i really don´t get it
I knew that someone would complain about my way of picking the songs. 
It is all about the "community", isn't it? I want to see my mates in the CD, so I voted for them.
i have excelled myelf and listened to nearly all the songs.Some great some shite.

Yes, but we want it to be a great CD too! - I've voted for a few people I know alright, but ONLY because their songs are that good anyway

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to listen to the live podcast with the top 10 winners. Sorry I couldn't be in the chatroom until tonight. I'm going to miss out on the fun. :(
