PSB - Fundamental.

Anyone else picked this up?

Brilliant album. Only giving it my 2nd listening, but I like it a lot - esp MINIMAL and "I'm with stupid". Seems like a grower too.

I also love the cover art.

You obviously don't pay attention to what is going on NOOL - we've got a thread about the new PSB album for two weeks. Go and check it out.

Like what I've heard from it so far.Favourites of the moment,I'M WITH STUPID,LUNA PARK,MINIMAL and INTEGRAL.

BINOSHED? Is that another Clive Sinclair invention.It'll never take off,it'll go by the same route as Ronco fluff remover and ROBO-CHEF!

I loved the TOTP performances for "I'm with Stupid". Also, towards the end of "Minimal", there's a guitar part that is Hooky-esque.

Got it on Saturday along with the new Hot Chip album, enjoying listening to both of them

Their new album wont be released in the US still June 27th, but I have seen the video for "I'm with Stupid" and liked both the song and video.

Wow! No wonder I haven't heard of this. I have something to look forward to now, since God ony knows when NO's new album will be coming out!

Not over keen still think behaviour was their best

It is a good album,still not up there with VERY and BEHAVIOUR but well worth repeated plays. Well worth buying the Deluxe CD Fundamental and remix CD Fundamentalism. Got some good mixes on,featuring FUGITIVE new song remixed by Richard X,and a new version of a song they wrote for Dusty Springfield,IN PRIVATE,which features a very camp duet with Neil and .....ELTON JOHN!! Also good remix of SODOM AND GOMORRAH SHOW featuring Blue Monday samples.

So far I like 'Numb' and 'I made my excuses and left' best

Neil's already done a duet with Elton John before. It was called "Believe," which wasn't released on any album.

Haven't bought the album yet. I'm going to buy it on my BD next month!

It should be. When I had Kazaa two years ago, I found a video of PSB performing "Believe" with Elton John. Also, "Hello, Spaceboy," their duet with Bowie, should also be available to be downloaded - and it's a much better collaboration. "Believe" was too syrupy for my taste.

'Hallo Spaceboy' was quite accessable when it was released in 1997. At least the Bowie CD had 2 or 3 versions (or was it his single, don't remember; but the video was heavy promoted everywhere).
