Simply one of the greatest hardcore punk bands of all time. 'Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables' is an astonishing album, with tracks like Kill The Poor, Drug Me, California Uber Allies etc.

Sad to see them involved in courtcases with each other over money, allegations about Levi's ads and the karaoke version that still tours today, but their achievements still stand tall.

Any other fans out there?

What's your favourite DK track?

Gotta love Nazi Punks Fuck Off. Short and sweet(?)

I've heard one song of theirs, California Uber Alles. It's on a special punk compilation, and one of the best tunes on a splendid compilation honoring CBGBs. Can also be used to describe the Schwarzenegger Administration :D

Jello Biafra recently did a version of Califoirnia... with The Melvins where he updates it to talk about Ahnold.

Try Holiday In Cambodia, Trev. Another well known track. I think it actually knocked LWTUA off the number one spot in the British Indie charts in 1980.

No, that would be Too Drunk To Fuck.

still have the gig poster from when they played in Corvallis, with the Miracle Workers and Crucifucks.......awesome show. Only ever had the first two albums, plus some singles, but I always liked 'em plenty. Don't really listen to the albums i their entirety anymore, just the tracks I've placed on various mix tapes, etc.

The trouble I got in when I accidentally left my copy of Too Drunk To Fuck on my turntable when I was a kid - mother found it and was horrified!

California uber Alles and Holiday in Cambodia were my favourites. Top band.

The first four singles were atonishing: California Uber Alles, Holiday in Cambodia/Police Truck, Kill the Poor and Too Drunk too Fuck

They never touched those heights again, sadly, but those four records alone make them one of the greatest bands ever.
